We work to see churches uniting to collaborate for community flourishing. To that end, we build relationships, learn from our neighbors, equip and mobilize the church to work for their community’s flourishing. We serve the Atlanta area by training and mobilizing City Flourishing Catalysts to train, gather and mobilize churches to better and more effectively work for their community’s flourishing.
We believe that communal peace has been deeply broken in our communities. This brokenness has created divides economically, racially, ethnically, politically, and spiritually. It is our desire to know and be present with others in a way that fosters justice, fulfillment, delight, and universal flourishing.
Since 2003 Unite has invested time and resources in listening and being present within particular cities and neighborhoods facing systemic challenges. Our approach to seeking community flourishing relies on the interconnectedness of three distinct community transformation models; Asset Based Community Development, Collective Impact, and City Gospel Movements.
This methodology demands that the focus is informed and driven by the community, it holds a common agenda and shared measurements while fostering cross-sector collaboration across neighborhoods and cities.
