Let us pray together…
What if churches started praying for other churches during their worship services? This is beginning to happen as several Unite! churches are now regularly praying for other local churches in their Sunday morning services! Jesus prayer in John 17 that we may be as one as He and the Father are one and there is no greater way to show our unity and oneness than to be praying for each other. To do it on a Sunday morning allows our entire congregation to be a part of it! People in our churches are excited about praying for other churches, and it gives them a bigger view of the Kingdom! We encourage you and your church to commit to praying for other local churches every week, possibly in your weekly worship services or posting the requests in your bulletins/newsletters.
The following are current prayer requests submitted by pastors/leaders from the following Unite! churches.
- Landmark Church, Peachtree Corners – Pray for God to provide the resources they need to maintain their buildings which are in need of desperate repairs. Pray for God to increase their numbers and help them flow out into their surrounding community.
- Cumberland Community Church, Smyrna – Pray as they are trying to move a few miles down the road and are waiting on government approvals.
- Harvest Community Church of the Nazarene, Lilburn – Pray for unity within their church after staff changes and pray God will use them through their new involvement in the Ballroom Dance Community.
- Glory City Church, Suwanee – Pray with them for the provision of a new building or property.
